Unless you decide to remain anonymous, Sago will ask you the following information: your location, your first and last name, your job title, your professional email, and phone number as well as the persons who are the subject of the alert. Concerning the management of your report, only you are in the position to define the nature and the amount of information you would share with us. Therefore, we remind you that the information you provide must be factual and directly related to the subject of the alert.
- Sensitive information may also be processed if it is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim or to enable the preparation and, where appropriate, the exercise and monitoring of legal proceedings.
- We use the information directly provided to us by you in order to process alerts that reveal a breach of a rule or a misconduct, according to our legal obligation to do so.
- We may share this information with the persons authorized to know about it with regard to their attributions. The information may be communicated within the Group if this communication is necessary for the sole purpose of verifying or processing the alert.
- Your information is securely stored in an outsourced data center located in France.
- Data relating to an alert considered to be outside the scope of the system will be anonymized without delay.
- When no action is taken on an alert that falls within the scope of the system, the data relating to this alert will be anonymized within two months of the end of the verification operations.
- When disciplinary or litigation proceedings are initiated against a respondent or the author of an abusive alert, the data relating to the alert may be kept until the end of the proceedings or the time limit for appeals against the decision.
Under the data protection laws, you have rights, including:
- The right to access your personal information, using the personal code affected to you after sending your report;
- The right to erase or to rectify factual information, without the possibility of retroactively modifying the elements contained in the alert or collected during its investigation, and without the possibility of reconstructing the chronology of the important elements of the investigation.
